Where do you get your cashews from?

We travelled far and wide to source cashews that were not only organic but more importantly, fair trade. We source our cashews from an awesome company in West Africa.

Are you gluten free?

Yes, all of our products are gluten free. 

Is your lactic acid derived from dairy?

No. UMYUM is a dairy free company and our products do not contain dairy or dairy derivatives. Our lactic acid is derived from plant sources.

How do I store UMYUM products?

Monroe: We recommend storing our aged cheese in a separate piece of parchment paper after it's been opened. This allows the cheese to breathe and live its best life until you enjoy it the next time. 

Butters: Keep them in their original wrap, or move them to another container or butter dish.
